Service Description

Thank you for your interest in the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Essentials Course with Divine Hearts CPR, LLC. We are committed to upholding the AHA standards. This course prepare instructor candidates to teach AHA instructor-led and blended-learning course formats. Instructors learn how to adequately use AHA training materials, ensure that students meet learning objectives and AHA Instructor and course policies. The following outlines the course, prerequisites, materials provided, and costs for the AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Essentials Course. If the Instructor candidate intends to teach healthcare providers, they should register for the BLS Instructor Essentials Course. The BLS Instructor Essentials Course includes the following materials: BLS Instructor Manual BLS Provider Manual Materials cannot be exchanged, so it is important to register for the correct course. To teach First Aid, the Instructor will need to take a First Aid class at our office, this will be reviewed during the Instructor Essentials Course. First Aid class fee is included in Essentials Course cost. **First Aid Heartsaver materials are not included with this course** Prerequisites to becoming an AHA Instructor are - be 18 or older, be accepted by an AHA Training Center (My Training Center can accept those that complete the instructor course with us), must have a current AHA Provider card for that discipline, be proficient in all the skills of that discipline, successfully complete the Instructor Essential Course and be successfully monitored within 6 months after completing the course. (One monitoring is included in course fee, any additional monitorings will be invoiced to instructor candidate at $50/hr.)

Cancellation Policy

If you have not already paid for your class, then you can cancel free of charge. If you would like to schedule the day of the class, there will be a $20 Inconvenience fee applied and payment will be due at least 2 hours before the class start time. Once your payment has been received there are no refunds, only reschedules up to 90 days from the date payment was received. Thank you!
