BLS Provider

Service Description

The AHA’s new BLS Provider Course has been updated to include science and education from the 2020 Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam. Course Content • Key changes in basic life support, reflecting the new science from the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC • Critical concepts of high-quality CPR • The American Heart Association Chain of Survival • 1-Rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant • Multirescuer resuscitation • Differences between adult, child and infant rescue techniques • Bag-mask techniques for adult, child and infant • Rescue breathing for adult, child and infant • Relief of choking for adult, child and infant. Successfully complete this course and in order to receive your BLS course completion eCard, students must do the following: • Participate in hands-on interactive demonstrations of high-quality CPR skills • Pass the Adult CPR and AED Skills Test • Pass the Infant CPR Skills Test • Score at least 84% on the exam *Please note that refunds are not available; however, you may reschedule within three months from your registration date

Cancellation Policy

If you have not already paid for your class, then you can cancel free of charge. If you would like to schedule the day of the class, there will be a $20 Inconvenience fee applied and payment will be due at least 2 hours before the class start time. Once your payment has been received there are no refunds, only reschedules up to 90 days from the date payment was received. Thank you!
